Established in 2008, Devon and Dorset Cottages markets and manages over 140 self-catering holiday cottages throughout Dorset and East Devon. From the exclusive golden peninsula of Sandbanks and fossil-filled beaches of Lyme Bay to the rolling countryside of East Devon, we specialise in picturesque properties in the most beautiful locations.
Privately owned and based in the heart of Lyme Regis, we pride ourselves on our specialist knowledge of the local area, whilst being able to draw on the experience and know-how of our parent company, Toad Hall Cottages. Over the years we’ve won multiple awards for our friendly, flexible service, but our consecutive Gold Service awards from Feefo mean the most - based purely on genuine reviews from real customers.

What We Do
Our team of property experts carefully select and thoroughly inspect the best holiday cottages in the area, whilst making sure to provide a range of accommodation types, sizes, locations and prices. We work closely with all our owners, and have all of our properties independently assessed by VisitEngland so that our guests can book with confidence.
To help you choose a holiday that meets all of your requirements, we provide honest and comprehensive information about our cottages, including detailed property descriptions, lots of photos and the best things to do and places to eat nearby. We even produce 3D virtual tours allowing you to have a proper look around. Our team visit each and every one of our holiday cottages so that they can talk you through our properties with first-hand knowledge and help you find somewhere perfect.
We handle every booking with care and liaise with our guests in a friendly, personal manner. Thanks to our office in Lyme Regis, we’re only ever a stone’s throw away to offer help and support throughout your stay, including a 24/7 emergency service. We aim to please and will always go that extra country mile to ensure our guests have a positive experience; their feedback is vital to our continued improvement, so we welcome it with open arms and always put to good use.
