Sunnyside is a delightful 18th Century town house, in a superb location in the heart of Old Lyme Regis, just 150m from the seafront promenade, beach, shops and pubs.  Ideally located in the historic Coombe Street and only a stones throw away from all the local amenities.  Full of character, light and airy and very tastefully decorated and furnished in a coastal theme. The house has been renovated to a high standard and its appealing charm echoes throughout.  The property is close to the Town Mill bakery and the pretty River Lym walk.  A wonderful seaside property, with its central location and parking nearby, allowing you to enjoy all that this traditional seaside town has to offer.

Often referred to as the ‘Pearl of Dorset’, Lyme Regis is well known for its literary association with Jane Austen as well as its diverse geology which people from across the world flock to in the hunt for fossils. The historic old town retains an olde worlde charm with small streets filled with galleries, boutique shops and famed gastro restaurants and cafés.  Its sheltered south facing beaches are safe for children and water sports enthusiasts alike with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour.  For those who would like a change of scene and a day away from the beach, the surrounding rolling countryside, which is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts walking and cycling in abundance or perhaps while away a few days exploring pretty East Devon fishing villages such as Beer and Branscombe or head to the market town of Axminster to sample Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Canteen.

Front door leads into the dining room and lounge with lovely wooden floors, shuttered windows, dining table and chairs as well as a comfortable sofa in which to relax.  The hallway from the dining room leads to the well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools, electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, Fridge freezer, De-Longhi coffee machine.  Stairs from the hallway to the first floor – due to the age of the house, these are fairly narrow.  Additional lounge with comfortable sofas and chairs, Freeview TV including ‘catch-up’ and Netflix.  Family bathroom equipped with a superb walk in shower, WC and washbasin.  Bedroom 1 with 3ft single bed.  Further stairs lead to the second floor where you will find Bedroom 2 with 3ft twin beds and Bedroom 3 with a Kingsize bed.

A door from the kitchen leads to the outdoor patio area to the rear of the property, equipped with outdoor furniture, shed housing beach goods and a barbecue.  There is also an outdoor toilet.

Public parking at Charmouth Road or Holmbush car parks – a 5 min walk away.
